OUR USAGE AND MAINTENANCE TIPS

To accelerate oxidation, spray the Corten steel with a mixture of 1/3 hydrochloric acid and 2/3 water. Leave for 48 hours then rinse with clear water. You can repeat the operation if necessary.

Once the desired level of oxidation is reached. We recommend applying a Rustol-type rust inhibitor from Owatrol to fix the oxidation.

Beware of rust stains during the oxidation phase, they can damage the surface on which the containers are placed (tiles, wooden deck...)

Please note:

Salt significantly damages Corten.

Upon receipt, the raised garden beds must be stored out of their packaging so as not to disturb the oxidation that can occur upon contact with humidity.

Superficial scale plates are inherent to the production of Corten and are an integral part of the product.
