OUR USAGE AND MAINTENANCE ADVICE

To accelerate oxidation, spray the Corten steel with a mixture of 1/3 hydrochloric acid and 2/3 water. Let it act for 48h then rinse with clear water. You can repeat the operation if necessary.

Once the desired oxidation level is reached. We recommend applying an anti-rust product such as Rustol by Owatrol to fix the oxidation.

Beware of rust drips during the oxidation phase, they can damage the surface on which the Corten steel elements are placed (tiling, wooden deck...)

Note:

Salt significantly damages Corten.

Upon receipt, the totems must be stored outside their packaging to avoid disturbing the oxidation that can occur upon contact with humidity.

The superficial scale plates are inherent to Corten production and are an integral part of the product.
